The Rotating Internship
The SASH Rotating Internship program will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside our experienced specialists, over a 12-month period. The program will offer you an unrivalled, structured learning opportunity, giving you access to a varied case load with lots of support from the entire SASH team. As part of our Adelaide team, you will have the opportunity to rotate through several services including Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care, Oncology, Dermatology, Neurology, Ophthalmology and Radiology. This is a full-time position, with an expected start date of July 2026.

 

About You
We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic vets with a thirst to learn. This is a challenging program and will require you to have an adaptable and proactive approach to your work. We are looking for someone who demonstrates the following:

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to problem solve.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of SASH.
  • Eagerness to have primary involvement in cases, offering a hands-on approach.

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will:

  • Have current registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of SA (VPBSA) OR an undergraduate degree registerable with the VSBSA
  • 1 year experience in General Practice would be desirable. However, new graduates with a strong work ethic will be considered.
