AAVDI is the Australasian Association for Diagnostic Imaging. The organisation was created to promote knowledge, understanding and the use of diagnostic imaging by practicing veterinarians. Meetings are held in Australian and New Zealand at regular intervals. Membership is open to anyone interested in imaging.
The American College of Veterinary Radiologists website is a fund of information about the American College of Veterinary Radiologists. Anyone can become a member and subscribe to the official journal Veterinary Radiology and Ultrasound If you have a special interest in ultrasound, CT or MRI it is worth joining the relevant society. There are many other useful imaging links listed on this site.
The European Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging are the home pages of the European Imaging organisations. The College administers the examinations for Diplomates (Specialists) and the Association runs meetings and conferences.
This is a fabulous website run by Dr Alison Zwingenberger from UCD. It is a wonderful source of educational material. A must see! This site is very useful for small animal exam preparation.
