Submission to Australian CDC consultation, December 2022

In response to recent consultation on the design and scope of an Australian Centre for Disease Control (CDC), the Epidemiology and Veterinary Public Health Chapters of the College provided a joint submission. The Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care undertook consultation with key stakeholders during November and December 2022 on the design and scope of the CDC. The CDC is intended to improve Australia's ongoing response and preparedness for current and emerging public health emergencies. In response to the consultation discussion paper, the Epidemiology and Veterinary Public Health Chapters provided a joint submission in December 2022. See the submission here.
