Australia’s premier specialist surgery facility is recruiting to a unique role in a busy referral hospital.

As Southpaws grows (second clinic opened in Mornington July 2020) we continue to strive for the highest standards of patient care. We are recruiting people to develop our Critical Care team to continue the expert care for post-operative and critical patients. This role is focused solely on inpatients and referral patients.

We have a mixed case load of Internal Medicine, Oncology and Surgery providing diverse case exposure and the opportunity to enhance your clinical expertise working with and alongside specialists.

You will have primary case responsibility supported by our large team of talented Interns, Senior Interns and Residents as well as referral clinicians and specialists.

We have on site digital X-ray, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, ventilators as well as comprehensive Idexx suite.

The advertised positions will be required to cover;

  • Monday          -         day shift
  • Weekend        -         day shift
  • Weekday        -         evenings until Midnight
  • Weekend        -         evenings until Midnight

We are inclusive and welcome applications from experienced clinicians requiring flexible hours as we build a team that supports 24-hour services. We can accommodate part-time, full-time, job sharing, fixed or rotating rosters.
