Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre ( www.bvsc.com.au ) is looking for an exceptional surgery intern to join our surgery team of three specialists, three residents and dedicated and experienced nurses. 

BVSC is a modern referral hospital providing speciality services in surgery, oncology, internal medicine, radiation therapy, ophthalmology, dentistry and physiotherapy. The BVSC team have a successful residents’ program and this is a newly created small animal surgery intern role. You will be the only surgery intern and will participate in a rigorous training program that includes a commitment to quality mentoring and supervision in a world-class hospital. This one-year, full time position will prepare you well to apply for a residency position in small animal surgery. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, MANZCVS qualified veterinarian.  Previous experience working in a busy specialist hospital is preferred but not essential and those planning to sit MANZCVS are encouraged to apply. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to thrive in a busy, collaborative environment and will reflect the vision, purpose and values of BVSC in all your professional activities.
