Sheep and Beef Veterinarian Team Leader

North Canterbury Veterinary Clinics is a 4 clinic mixed practice located north of Christchurch. We have clinics in Amberly, Waikari, Culverden and Cheviot.

NCVC currently has a team of 19 vets who work closely with our CA Clinics, LA Technicians, Animal Health Representatives, and our Vet Clinic Support Teams.

We are now looking to recruit a Team Leader for our Sheep & Beef Team, which currently consists of 4 Vets, with another addition to come in the near future.
While the role will be predominantly be based in Waikari, we would expect that as Team Leader there will be some time spent within the other clinics supporting and mentoring staff.

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and expertise

  • Minimum 5 years Veterinary experience in a mixed practice
  • A strong commitment to delivering high standards of care
  • Exceptional organisational & communications skills
  • A friendly, positive ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Either proven leadership or interest in leading a team
