Regional Veterinary Manager

About the Role

As the Regional Veterinary Manager you will be part of our Disease Management team and will be responsible for providing strong linkages between the National Control Centre Disease Management team, the Regional Control Centre staff and the field teams. Supporting the Regional Controller by providing technical advice and guidance about the Programme, addressing short and longer term technical issues and risks by problem solving. 

To be successful in this role you'll bring:

  • A Post-graduate degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent experience or PhD in Biological Sciences
  • Extensive veterinary experience
  • Knowledge with either production animal veterinary practice or animal processing verification 

You may also have

  • Large animal experience in a clinical environment
  • Understanding of the farming sector
  • Understanding the meat processing

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for this role is $87 to $97k commensurate to skills and experience.
