The Tutor in Veterinary Pathology will contribute to the provision of diagnostic service in anatomic pathology by performing necropsies and histopathological examination on a wide range of animal species. Training in anatomic pathology will be provided, and the successful applicant will be expected to sit examinations for Membership of the Pathobiology Chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists during their period of employment.

The successful applicant will also assist in the provision of theoretical and practical instruction in veterinary anatomic pathology of graduate students enrolled in the first, second, third and fourth years of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) course and undergraduate students enrolled in the Veterinary Bioscience Major in the third year of the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. 

The tutor will be located at the Werribee campus of the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences but will be expected to teach veterinary students from time to time at the Parkville campus.
