The JCU Discipline of Veterinary Science requires the services of a Locum Anaesthetist from the 19th October to the end of January 2021 (or part thereof). The position is required to teach anaesthesia to 5th year veterinary science students in the context of providing clinical work to the patients in our veterinary teaching hospital.

The hours would be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with no afterhours work involved. There is an excellent team providing nursing and technical support in the anaesthesia department who are also involved in the teaching and assessment of students.

Townsville offers a tropical location with a variety of outdoor activities and is on the doorstep of Magnetic Island and the Great Barrier Reef.

An attractive remuneration is offered as well as a generous allowance for travel and accommodation.
