At Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre (BVSC), we believe pets are family and deserve the best possible care. Our multi-disciplinary hospital boasts expertise across internal medicine, surgery, surgical oncology, radiation therapy and a number of ancillary specialist services such as physiotherapy and dentistry. We also offer an after-hours emergency service that ensures exceptional care around the clock.

Our dedicated medicine team includes two board-certified Internal Medicine Specialists, a registrar, 1 resident, 1 medicine-specific intern, and experienced support staff. The hospital is purpose-built and equipped with advanced technologies such as digital radiography, Philips ultrasounds, ECG, multi-slice CT scanner, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, radioactive iodine therapy, endoscopy, 24hr Holter monitoring, and access to a 3T MRI.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Internal Medicine Registrar to join the team. This position offers flexibility, with the option for full-time or part-time work and no regular after-hours obligations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Veterinary Bachelor’s Degree or DVM and be eligible to practice as a Veterinarian in Queensland
  • Completed an approved residency program with the ACVIM, ECVIM or ANZCVS
  • Collaborative, compassionate, and adaptable in a multidisciplinary team
  • Positive attitude with a good sense of humour, and strong work ethic, while fully embracing the culture and values of BVSC.
