FELINE MEDICINE/INTERNALMEDICINE -  AUCKLAND NORTH SHORE

Veterinary Hospital Group is looking for a forward thinking veterinarian with additional qualifications in FELINE MEDICINE or INTERNAL MEDICINE for a Feline only practice on Auckland's beautiful North Shore,  an area well known for its wonderful local beaches, many cafes, good schools and easy access to the city centre for events.

Veterinary Hospital Group is an independently owned group of 14 clinics across the Auckland region. 

The Cat Doctor North Shore clinic is the most recent addition to the family and we are looking for an advanced practitioner to

  • Lead first opinion feline day to day consulting, diagnostics, surgery and dentistry
  • Provide additional case support/second opinions for other veterinarians in our group for more complex feline cases
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the clinic including support staff skills and feline specific protocols for the clinic and wider group.

The wider Veterinary Hospital Group has clinics able to provide additional services such as I131 treatment and orthopaedics/advanced surgery for our patients.  Outpatient advanced imaging is available locally.

No after hours duties as we are well supported by local emergency/referral clinics, Saturday hours on a shared roster basis.

Full or part time roles may be considered.

The successful candidate will be able to work well within a small team and be motivated to deliver a high standard of care for our clients, encompassing our belief that ‘pets are precious’.

Competitive remuneration based on experience/role, generous CPD allowance,  VCNZ and NZVA registration.
