Emergency Vet

An opportunity for an Emergency Veterinarian to join our AEC Woolloongabba team in Brisbane. The successful applicant would be required to work various rotational shifts on the AEC roster, which will include evenings, overnights, morning discharge shifts, weekends and public holidays.

The position would suit an enthusiastic and experienced Veterinarian who possesses excellent clinical skills and a real interest in emergency medicine and professional development. Our team are looking for someone who loves the adrenaline rush of emergency medicine and thrives in a fast paced and exciting environment with like-minded people.

Your Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinarian with a keen interest or background in emergency medicine
  • Current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, and be committed to providing optimal patient care and timely reporting on treatment progress to our referring clinicians
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
