Two Veterinary Clinical Residency positions: Veterinary Pathology

The Sydney School of Veterinary Science is currently recruiting for two specialty residents in Veterinary Pathology, commencing on 1st July 2021.

This three-year, full-time program is structured with the objective of training highly skilled veterinary pathologists. The successful applicants will be part of the SSVS Pathology team who is motivated by their unified purpose of continuous growth of the veterinary profession. The program is expected to enable the successful applicants to fulfil the credentialing requirements for Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and work towards the American College of Veterinary Pathology board exam (ACVP). The residency program is directly supervised by board-certified specialists. This program requires completion of concurrent Masters degrees in coursework and research. A tax-free stipend of $44,000 pa is available for the most outstanding applicants. One position will be primarily based at Camden Campus and the other position at Camperdown Campus. Rotations between campuses are expected. Please indicate your Campus preference in your Letter of interest.

Applications are restricted to veterinarians with a registrable degree in New South Wales. Candidates must have an Honours degree or equivalent as well as Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency.
