2022  update

What you should be aware of before enrolling

The differences for the 2022 examination delivery compared to previous years are:

  • The written examinations are likely to be provided through an online examination assessment system.
  • You will need to bring your own laptop to the examination venue for the written examinations, these cannot be performed on tablets/ipads or phones.
  • The written examinations will be held before the College’s Scientific Conference and the practical and oral examination will be held after the conference.
  • Membership practical examinations will be conducted at state capital venues only.

Fellowship examination dates for 2022:

  • Written Paper one: Tuesday, June 7th
  • Written Paper two: Wednesday, June 8th
  • Practical component: Saturday, July 2nd
  • Oral component: Sunday, July 3rd

Membership examination dates for 2022:

  • Written examinations: Tuesday, June 7th (Paper 1 in the morning and Paper 2 in the afternoon)
  • Practical examinations: Either Wednesday 8th or Thursday 9th, June
  • Oral examinations: Saturday 9th - Monday 11th, July
  • Medicine of Cats UK oral examinations: Saturday 16th and/or Sunday 17th, July

Written and practical Venues for 2022:

Candidates will be advised of their written and practical venue in March - April 2022

  • Each candidate will require proof of identity in the name they have enrolled in (a drivers licence or similar document with photograph is acceptable) prior to commencing both their written examinations.
  • No electronic devices including smart watches, mobile/cell phones or tablets are permitted to be in a candidate’s possession during allocated examination times.

Oral examination component 2022:

Candidates will be advised of their oral time in March - April 2022

  • Each candidate will require proof of identity in the name they have enrolled in (a drivers licence or similar document with photograph is acceptable) prior to commencing both their practical and oral examinations.
  • No electronic devices including smart watches, mobile/cell phones or tablets are permitted to be in a candidate’s possession during allocated examination times.
