- Full-time (38 hours per week), HEO 6, 12 months fixed-term, with a base salary of $93,484 p.a. - $100,782 p.a., plus a generous employer's contribution to superannuation.
About the opportunity
Reporting directly to the Department Head Anaesthesia, the Veterinary Registrar will provide clinical services to large and small animals. This position includes the provision of quality anaesthesia services to clients under the general direction of the Head of Anaesthesia UVTHC as well as assisting with teaching in the spey clinic each week for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Year 3 & 4 students. You will be supported by an experienced anaesthesia team at Camden with access to development opportunities based on interest.

- a veterinary degree registrable in NSW
- a driver’s license
- a clear interest in anaesthesia in a mixed species environment
- experience in training undergraduate students
- previous anaesthesia experience in a mixed animal veterinary practice

The University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Camden (UVTHC) provides a range of large and small animal veterinary services to the community and referring veterinarians. As a teaching school, it also provides didactic and clinical instruction to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students during the pre-clinical and clinical final year as well as offering a number of post graduate training programs. The UVTHC has a strong focus on promotion of teamwork and good working relations to facilitate excellence in clinical services, undergraduate teaching as well as the overall teaching and learning environment for staff
